The concept

Everyone has been rejected in one form or another.  But what happens to most people...when we do get rejected??  We suppress it, put it down way deep.  And it builds and it builds and sometimes we imagine doing things to people in our heads, but not in reality.  So the concept touches us all, but taking it from several different friends and myself to create Katherine Blackwell.
A shy, but reclusive writer who wants to write the next great American love story, but has no experience in it.  Katherine wants to go with a traditional publisher and even though her friends and family think she is good, they feel she should self-publish.  Which I have seen a few friends that want to be traditionally published by a large Publishing House and meeting rejection.
It is something that we all find as our worst nightmare.  Even as an Independent Film maker, you want some one like Fangoria to review your stuff, but what happens if they don't like it??  That too is a form of rejection. We can be rejected by a man or a woman...and that sort of rejection does maim inside and makes you feel less of a person.  Too much rejection can turn the most shy and simple person in to a depressed driven to create something or they might just give up.
The character of Katherine doesn't give up, instead she finds a new form of writing and in the process creating her own perfect story....
What happens if disappointment maims and rejection kills???

Strap in and get ready for the ride.....
